About Living Shores Aquarium

Living Shores Aquarium brings spectacular aquatic ecosystems and exciting terrestrial wildlife to the mountains of New Hampshire in an indoor, year-round, immersive experience. Living Shores holds over 50,000 gallons of aquarium exhibits and is home to dozens of species of marine life, including 5 interactive touch pools of rays, sharks & invertebrates. With over 30,000 thousand square feet, the Living Shores Aquarium also exhibits dozens of amphibians and reptiles, ranging from our own backyards to all the way across the globe! We aspire to serve New Hampshire and the greater New England area as an interactive and educational resource in wildlife conservation, habitat preservation, and sustainability through both in-house and outreach programming.

Our team works hard behind the scenes to ensure the highest standards of quality care for our residents. With such large exhibits and such a variety of species in our care, it takes a team of experts to make it all happen!

Living Shores opened its doors in late 2019 as New Hampshire's very first aquarium! The Aquarium was only in operation for a few months before being shut down due to COVID-19. We have since reopened, and have educated & entertained tens of thousands of guests from all over. Since opening, we have found new ways to capture the wonder of  guests with the addition of our Reptile Wall, Critter Corner, plenty of new and exciting species of animal, and more!
